How Microdermabrasion Works

Microdermabrasion is a facial rejuvenation technique that works by removing small amounts of your skin through an abrasive process. In addition to dead, dull layers of outer skin, microdermabrasion also removes dirt, bacteria, grease, and other contaminants that can stress your skin.
