Microdermabrasion has always been a good treatment to remove dull and damaged skin that contributed to an aged appearance, but now it’s an even better treatment option. Ultrasonic microdermabrasion can treat skin discoloration, discolored skin, fine wrinkles, and more, but without the abrasive crystals. It also penetrates further into the skin, leading to deeper rejuvenation.
Whether you’re a fan of the old microdermabrasion or not, you should try ultrasonic microdermabrasion. To learn how it can help you, please call 303-469-0064 or email Sonata for an appointment. Helping patients from Denver, Westminster, Broomfield, and the rest of the Metro Area.

How Microdermabrasion Works
Microdermabrasion is a facial rejuvenation technique that works by removing small amounts of your skin through an abrasive process. In addition to dead, dull layers of outer skin, microdermabrasion also removes dirt, bacteria, grease, and other contaminants that can stress your skin. But unlike traditional microdermabrasion, which used a sandblaster of jagged crystals to wear away your skin, ultrasonic microdermabrasion uses sound waves that are mediated by a liquid, which can contain numerous nutrients or medications that your skin needs, nutrients or medications that can actually be pushed into the skin by the ultrasonic handpiece, improving absorption and protecting the skin from further dryness or damage that traditional microdermabrasion could sometimes cause.
In addition to removing surface layers of skin, the ultrasound waves penetrate deep into the skin, stimulating your body to produce additional collagen, which helps restore the skin. It also stimulates circulation, bringing more of your body’s natural healing compounds to the treatment area to help the rejuvenation process.
Although each microdermabrasion treatment will show some effect, maximum effectiveness is achieved with a series of five or six treatments.
Our microdermabrasion treatments also come with a relaxing mini-massage that helps rejuvenate the spirit as well as the skin.
