We think of fat transfer as the ultimate “twofer.”

First Dr. Janowski removes some fat from an unwanted location – usually your tummy or maybe your thighs. Then, your fat is treated and injected into a part of the face that could use the volume – that is the same areas you’d use a dermal filler such as Restylane.

For liposuction, Dr. J. uses a low-impact technique pioneered by Dr. Jeffery Klein. Training directly with Dr. Klein, Dr. J. has mastered a minimally invasive in-office procedure that requires no anesthesia, has minimal downtime and almost always leaves zero scars.

Then, your own harvested fat is injected in areas of diminished volume. For many of us, adding some fat to the temples, cheekbones and even the lips helps restore the idealized “triangle of youth.”

And a fat transfer is the ultimate natural solution. It is your very own stem cells helping rejuvenate and redefine facial contours.

What we really love about this twofer is the super long-lasting results.

Unlike most other fillers, your natural fat is a near -permanent solution with most patients retaining 50-80% of fat forever.

As for the lipo, as long as you remain at the same weight as when you had the procedure, fat doesn’t come back. That said, if you have noticeable weight-gain, you will gain it all over – including in the area(s) you had the procedure.

In terms of down-time, this is considered a minimally invasive procedure. We’d suggest you give it a week for swelling and mild bruising to dissipate.

It is understandable why so many of us are turning to fat transfer instead of undergoing regular dermal filler injections. Fat transfer has become the most natural and long-lasting method for recreating a healthy and youthful fullness just where you want it and simultaneously reducing plumpness exactly where you don’t.

Truly a “twofer” if there ever was one.
